Gaami (2024) Hindi Dubbed Full Movie

Gaami is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language epic adventure thriller. It is written and directed by Vidyadhar Kagita, making his directorial debut. The film stars Vishwak Sen, Chandini Chowdary, Abhinaya, Harika Pedada, and Mohammad Samad. It began as a crowdfunding project and was produced by Karthik Sabareesh under the Karthik Kult banner.

The movie was released on 8 March 2024 to positive reviews. Critics praised the performances, concept, production design, and technical aspects. It became a major box office success, grossing ₹22 crore against a budget of ₹6 crore.

Shankar, an amnesiac Aghora with haphophobia, is condemned by the Aghoras of his Ashram. They believe his phobia is a curse and banish him to repay his karmic debt. Sudama, a kind Ashramite, advises Shankar to seek Kedar Baba, the Aghora who brought him to the Ashram as a teen. Shankar learns Kedar Baba is dead but is told about a rare medicinal mushroom, maalipatram, that can cure him. The mushroom grows in a Himalayan cave and is potent only once every 36 years. Shankar has 15 days to find it. He is joined by Jahnavi, a doctor researching maalipatram.

Meanwhile, Durga, a terminally ill Devadasi in South India, wants to reconcile with her estranged daughter Uma. Uma resents Durga for abandoning her but later learns Durga’s sacrifice ensured her safe birth. They bond, but their happiness is short-lived. The village chieftain forces Uma to become a new Devadasi. Uma resists, but Durga's death leaves her vulnerable. She is captured and sent to an illegal facility called C.A.T., where inhumane experiments take place.

At the facility, CT-333, a test subject, suffers brutal treatments. Another inmate attempts to help CT-333 escape, but their plan fails. CT-333 endures electrocution and frostbite but eventually escapes. Simultaneously, Shankar faces hallucinations of CT-333 and Uma pleading for help. A Buddhist monk tells Shankar that they are connected to him by karma.

Shankar discovers he, Uma, and CT-333 are the same person. Uma, born with intersex traits, was forced into horrific experiments by C.A.T. The trauma erased Shankar’s memory, creating CT-333. Shankar recalls his past and seeks redemption. He consumes the maalipatram and overcomes his phobia. Reunited with Jahnavi, he finds peace as memories of his mother Durga comfort him.
