Joshua (2024) Hindi Dubbed Full Movie

Joshua: Imai Pol Kaakha is a 2024 Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and produced by Ishari K. Ganesh. The movie stars Varun in the lead role, alongside Raahei, Dhivyadharshini, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Krishna. The story revolves around a contract killer-turned-bodyguard who must protect his ex-girlfriend from the dangerous clutches of a Mexican drug cartel.

Production for the film began in late 2019 but faced significant delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming was completed in 2021. The music for the film was composed by Karthik, with cinematography by S. R. Kathir and editing by Anthony. The film was released on 1 March 2024 and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Joshua, an ex-contract killer, is employed by a private security agency based in Chennai. His latest assignment is to protect his ex-girlfriend Kundhavi, a New York-based lawyer. Kundhavi is the last remaining member of a legal team prosecuting El Chapo, the notorious leader of a Mexican drug cartel. Following a failed assassination attempt, she becomes the cartel’s primary target.

A gang led by Don Shiva and Koti, who happens to be Joshua's childhood friend, launches an attack on Kundhavi at a hotel. Joshua and his team successfully fend off the attackers, though Joshua sustains injuries during the confrontation. However, Kundhavi is later kidnapped by Shiva and Koti. In a daring rescue mission, Joshua manages to save Kundhavi and kills Shiva, though Koti escapes.

Koti, upon realizing Joshua's identity, orders his men to stand down but secretly plots to kill Kundhavi to claim the bounty. Joshua outsmarts Koti but ultimately spares his life out of respect for their shared past.

The story takes a shocking turn when Kundhavi’s father, Chidambaram, arrives, claiming he will ensure her safety. Madhavi, Joshua’s boss, uncovers Chidambaram’s true intentions. It is revealed that Chidambaram had hired Shiva and Koti to eliminate Kundhavi because he was involved in El Chapo's drug operations. In a climactic confrontation, Joshua takes down Chidambaram's henchmen, and Kundhavi kills her father in an act of self-defense. Joshua pledges to remain by Kundhavi’s side and protect her from any future threats.
