UI (2024) Full Hindi Dubbed Movie

UI is a 2024 Indian Kannada-language science fiction dystopian action film. It is written and directed by Upendra, who also plays the lead role. The film features Reeshma Nanaiah, Nidhi Subbaiah, Sadhu Kokila, Murali Krishna, Murali Sharma, and Indrajit Lankesh in supporting roles. It is produced by Lahari Films and Venus Entertainers.

The film was released on 20 December 2024. It was dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Critics gave the film positive reviews.

The story is set in a fictional world created by the director. It explores a psychological conflict between a king and an extraordinary man. The man uses his clever plans to take control of the town and becomes a dictator.

Upendra conceived the story in the mid-2000s. It is his eleventh directorial film and his first since Uppi 2 (2015). The storyline was kept secret, described only as entertaining yet tackling a global issue. Upendra stated the film has a surrealistic world.

The film was launched on 3 June 2022. The title UI refers to a mark worn on the forehead. G. Manoharan and K.P. Sreekanth produced the film. Along with Kannada, the film released in four other languages. Murali Sharma, Nidhi Subbaiah, and Reeshma Nanaiah were confirmed in the cast. B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music. Shivakumar worked as the art director, and Deepu S. Kumar served as the editor.

The production used extensive VFX, including 1,400 VFX shots and CGI doubles of Upendra. A unique city set was created on 10 acres. Advanced technology, such as VR Mocobot and 3D scanning, was used. It was the first Asian film to use tech from Avatar: The Way of Water. Filming locations included Bengaluru, Mysore, and Hyderabad.

The final shoot was completed in August 2023. Upendra assisted in editing and dubbing for the Kannada and Telugu versions.

The first poster was released on 3 June 2022. Behind-the-scenes footage was released in January and May 2023. A teaser launched on 18 September for Upendra's birthday. It featured mysterious audio and visuals. The teaser reached four million views on YouTube within 24 hours.

Cast
