Ulajh (2024) Full Hindi Movie

Ulajh is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language spy thriller. It is directed by Sudhanshu Saria and produced by Junglee Pictures. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Roshan Mathew, Gulshan Devaiah, and Adil Hussain.

The story follows Suhana Bhatia, a young IFS officer. She belongs to a family with a legacy of diplomats. Suhana gets caught in a dangerous conspiracy during a career-defining post in London.

The film was announced in May 2023. Principal photography began in June 2023 and ended in September 2023. It was shot in India and London. Ulajh released on 2 August 2024 to mixed reviews. It was a box office failure, earning only ₹11 crore worldwide.

Suhana Bhatia is an IFS officer from a family of diplomats. Her father, Dhanraj Bhatia, is about to become India’s Permanent Representative to the UN. Suhana is promoted to Deputy Commissioner at the Indian High Commission in London.

In London, Suhana is assigned Salim, a former policeman, as her driver. India is preparing to host Shahzad Alam, Pakistan’s newly-elected Prime Minister, who has announced a pro-India policy. Manohar Rawal, an Indian cabinet minister, invites Alam to India’s Independence Day ceremony. Alam also agrees to extradite Yaseen Mirza, a wanted terrorist.

At a diplomatic event, Suhana meets Nakul, a former Michelin-star chef. They start a romantic relationship. Nakul secretly records their encounter and blackmails her for confidential information about an energy deal. Fearing a scandal, Suhana complies.

Nakul continues blackmailing her. He reveals that he is ISI agent Akhtar. Suhana, now fearing charges of treason, continues to cooperate. RAW agent Jacob becomes suspicious and confronts her. However, Akhtar kills Jacob.

RAW tasks Suhana with investigating Jacob’s death, unaware of her involvement. Suhana discovers that Salim is working with Akhtar. She confronts Salim, and he dies accidentally during the confrontation. Sebin, another RAW agent, finds her at Salim’s apartment. Initially suspicious, Sebin teams up with Suhana after she shows him evidence of her blackmail.

They uncover a conspiracy involving Rawal and RAW official Kamat. The plan is to assassinate Shahzad Alam during his visit to India. The assassination is to be carried out by David, a French Canadian assassin posing as Nakul/Akhtar.

Suhana and Sebin go to India to stop the plot. They track David to a tower overlooking a dargah where Alam is scheduled to visit. Suhana confronts David and kills him before he can assassinate Alam. The conspiracy unravels. Rawal and Kamat are arrested.

Suhana is praised for preventing a diplomatic crisis. She is invited to join a secret elite intelligence unit, the Black Cats. Sebin reveals he is already a member of the team.
